Jordan Rubin
Jordan Rubin is a director who is based in Los Angeles. His first film, Zombeavers, premiered at Robert De Niro’s Tribeca Film Festival.
Jordan got his start writing for Jimmy Kimmel. He then went on to write the opening film for the 2011 Academy Awards, starring James Franco, Anne Hathaway, Morgan Freeman and Alec Baldwin. Jordan was awarded YouTube's "DoGooder Award" for a short charity film that he wrote and directed for Judd Apatow.
Jordan's own half-hour standup special, "Comedy Central Presents: Jordan Rubin" is currently running on the channel. He was a staff writer on Comedy Central's "Crank Yankers," "The Man Show" and "Pretend Time with Nick Swardson." He wrote an animated pilot for Warner Brothers starring Mike Tyson that was just picked up by Adult Swim.
He was the Head Writer of both The MTV Movie Awards and the European Music Awards for 4 years and also head wrote Snoop Dogg's most recent sketch show on MTV. He has also directed commercials for ESPN and for sketches for Spike TV’s viral hit show Lip Sync Battle.
