ENRA Performs at the Cannes Film Festival

The Cannes Film Festival is considered the most prestigious film festival in the world. Held annually in Cannes, France, it celebrates the finest works of film and has been a catalyst in launching the careers of some of the greatest artists of our generation.
At the Cannes Film Festival 2015, movie fans saw Dheepan take home the Palme d’Or, but attendees and those watching at home also caught a glimpse of the Empire produced performance group enra performing their new piece “FILMS” during the closing ceremony. The Japan-based group created the piece specifically for the Cannes Film Festival and worked diligently crafting their performance for the event, which became a much talked about attraction at the festival.
Empire was honored to be a part of the Cannes Film Festival during its 2015 closing ceremony, producing enra’s new piece that was performed in front of some of film’s greatest talents including the Coen brothers and Guillermo del Toro.
